We will be limiting registration to 50 invited guests per side. After 50 Federals and 50 Confederates, registration will close.

As said several times on the website, this event is INVITATION ONLY.  If you have any questions about this please e-mail schncr02@gwu.edu

Registration Deadline

Deadline to pay registration fee is 9/15/08

Company E, 2nd Virginia of the Stonewall Brigade will be hosting a Picket Post event on September 19-21, 2008 on over 400 acres of land in Washington County, Pennsylvania.  The portrayal will be units of the Army of the Cumberland and Army of Tennessee in the early stages of the siege of Chattanooga.  Detailed site preparation is underway to help provide a unique experience for those who come to represent part of the picket line on September 25-27, 1863.

This will be a 100% first-person/immersion event.  Participants will be asked to arrive at the site no later than 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 19, as we will “go live” shortly thereafter.  Commencing the event on Friday evening will allow for an extra night on the picket line.  To add to the unique experience, participants will be encouraged to dig and fell trees to improve upon the modest entrenchments that would have been started by units that had been occupying that position since the beginning of the siege the previous day.

All invited guests must register via the internet. We've created an online form for your convenience and to cut down on paper work for us. If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please contact Craig Schneider at schncr02@gwu.edu
